GenWise RC1 released
Posted: 08 Oct 06 10:05 PM
We are extremely glad to be able to tell you that we just have released GenWise RC1.
It has been an exiting and very busy time, and we are all ready planning for RC2 and Gold releases.
The idea behind RC1 is 3 fold:
1. It is feature complete. All though we might add small features to following updates, this is what we plan to release in the final version.
2. It is much more stable then any previous release.
3. This should be a good workable release.
It contains an automatic conversion for your datastore and BO layer. An ASP.NET project however needs to be re-created.
From now on we will also provide conversions for your ASP.NET project whenever it is necessary.
There are still some performance issues that we will address in the following update. But overall performance is better then the previous release.
We have added threading to the UI so the interface should look more responsive.
We are also working on improved documentation. The documentation link will now take you to a separate documentation area, and is also accessible on http://www.Genwise.com/documentation
Here is a partial list of the many fixes. We have fixed lots of bugs and improved many issues.
