An internet connection is needed while activating your copy of GenWise Studio, to connect with the GenWise activation service. When you run GenWise Studio for the first time after installing it, the activation dialog will automatically be displayed.
If your computer is not connected to the internet through a proxy server, you can just enter the license key you received and click the Activate button. If the activation succeeds, the activation dialog closes and the Startup Screen is displayed.
