The Browse Template is a Databound Control Template that displays multiple objects/rows at the same time, using a table layout with clickable column headers and paging (optional). It uses a collection of Property Templates, one for each column displaying a field from the source entity. Column header texts displayed by the Browse Template can be configured in the Database Repository, using the Column configuration page, or the Mass Column Editor. The selection of fields displayed by the Browse Template is determined through its DataSource Configuration.

The visual look and feel of the Browse Template can be controlled by using ASP.NET Themes. The column headers of properties displayed with the Browse Template are set in the Database Repository, using the Mass Column Editor or the Column Designer. The ASP.NET Wizard connects browse pages correctly to form pages (pages with the Form Template) automatically.
