Every GenWise project starts from a Database Repository that holds metadata about your database. The Database Repository is populated with a representation of the schema of your database. There are several ways to create a new Database Repository:

Start up GenWise Studio, on the bottom-left of the startup screen click the New Repository button.

In GenWise Studio choose the menu option File - Database Repository - New Database Repository.

Click the New Database Repository button 
on GenWise Studio's Standard Toolbar.
