Date popup doesn't work

The GMDatePicker (see Products used by GenWise) control may not work correctly when pages are viewed with Internet Explorer 6 or older versions of this browser. In some reported cases it was impossible to open the date picker dialog.

If you need to address this problem in another way then having users upgrade to a more recent version of Internet Explorer, there are various workarounds possible. All workarounds start with changing the Datasource Configuration to use the BaseProperty Template instead of the DateTime Property Template for date fields.

If you leave it here, users will have to type dates into plain textboxes, using the right format. The Form Template will automatically add a
Web Mask Validator to check that the user's input matches the required date format.

To make the user interface more advanced, you can use the Ajax Extension Template, this adds the possibility of masked editing for dates.
