Requirements
Install the DB2 Run-Time Client for Windows. Information about installing this software can be found here:
Alternatively, you can install IBM DB2 Express Edition for Windows, the Run-Time Client is included in this. An additional requirement for this software is the J2SE Runtime Environment version 5.
When the DB2 Run-Time Client for Windows has been installed on your computer, you can add the GenWise DB2 database provider in GenWise Studio. The steps to do this are described in this topic: Installing optional Database Providers.
Connection
The DB2 database provider connects you to a DB2 database and can synchronize your database to the datastore.
