Error Reporter

The Error Reporter dialog appears when GenWise Studio catches an unhandled error that has occurred. The Error Reporter has the following purposes:

It prevents GenWise Studio from crashing when serious errors occur, giving users an opportunity to save their work.
It provides GenWise Support with detailed information about the error that has occurred.
It gives users an opportunity to get feedback and help from GenWise Support when they run into problems.

 

If you are confronted with the Error Reporter, please do the following:

In the User Comment tab, explain what you believe to be the cause of the error, or which actions led to it.
Provide correct information in the User Information tab, this makes it possible for Genwise support to contact you to help solve problems.
In most cases it is recommended to close and restart GenWise when the Error Reporter has appeared.
