GenWise Requirements

GenWise Studio is designed for the Microsoft Windows Operating System and the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. It runs on any version of Windows that fully supports the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework. Windows NT 4, Windows ME and earlier versions of Windows are not supported. On recent versions of Windows such as Windows XP and Windows Vista, you don't need anything else but the GenWise Studio Setup.

If your machine does not have the .NET Framework 2.0 the GenWise Installer will detect this and will offer to automatically install it. The installation of the .NET Framework 2.0 redistributable can take several minutes during which only a progress bar is shown. Please be patient and allow the installation to finish.

Older versions of the Windows Operating System may support the .NET Framework. 2.0 but need other system updates before it can be installed. The installation of the .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable Package Setup will inform you of this.

The recommended minimum screen resolution is 1024x768, the lowest screen resolution that can be used is 800x600.
