Keyboard Shortcuts

The Project Explorer supports keyboard shortcuts for quick access to some of the most common tasks.

The following keyboard shortcuts are supported for items in the Database Repository and for Project Item Templates:

Open designer for Database Repository Item or Template Options Page.

Delete

Delete Database Repository Item or delete template

F5

Refresh the Project Explorer

Rename an item

 

The following keyboard shortcuts are supported for Project Item Templates:

Ctrl + S

Open the Source Editor to view/edit the source code generated by the template.

Ctrl + G

(Re-)Generate the source code for the project item.

Ctrl + D

Open the WebForm Designer to visually edit and view the page (ASP.NET Page Template and Master Page Template only).

Ctrl + R

Run Project Item (ASP.NET Page Template only)
