Topic updated 13-3-2007

There is a simple macro recording function to record and reproduce key strokes in the Source Editor. To record a macro, follow these steps:

1.Place the cursor where you want to start recording key strokes.
2.Click the Record Macro button MacroSupport-RecordButton on the toolbar.
3.Perform the key strokes that you want to record for replay.
4.The macro recording process can be paused by clicking the Pause Recording button MacroSupport-PauseButton, it remains on MacroSupport-ResumeButton, until it is clicked again to resume the macro recording.
5.If you make a mistake you can cancel the recording with the Cancel Recording button MacroSupport-CancelButton
6.Finish the macro recording by clicking the Stop Recording button MacroSupport-StopButton
7.The key strokes recorded in the macro can now be replayed by clicking the Run Macro button MacroSupport-PlayButton
