Main Menu

File

The File menu contains various options for opening existing projects, creating new projects and closing projects. Some of the menu options can be accessed more quickly by using the Standard Toolbar.

Tools

Reset Settings

This menu option clears the database connection details that are normally remembered by GenWise Studio to present as suggestions in the Provider Tab of a Datastore. Connection details are remembered per Windows user account.

Template Factory

Opens the Template Factory configuration window.

Options...

Opens the GenWise Studio Options for configuration of general settings.

Database Providers

Opens the Database Providers window.

Check for updates...

Checks if a new version of GenWise Studio is available from www.genwise.com.

Deactivate license

Use this menu option to deactivate a GenWise license. This is used when transferring a license.

View

Project Explorer

Displays / hides the Project Explorer.

WebForm Designer

Displays / hides tool windows of the WebForm Designer.

Reset Window Layout

Resets all IDE components to their default positions.
