The Sorting Options tab allows you to configure sorting behaviour of individual properties (database fields).
It is only available when the Property Template is included inside a template that handles multiple rows/objects (such as the Browse Template )

Support for nested objects
It's important to understand that when creating Property Templates which belong to parent objects (lookups) the sorting expression will contain the object path to the property to be use for sorting.
Please notice that in the example below we are showing a Browse for Order Details but we are showing 1 column (Company Name) that actually belongs to the Customer Object from the Order.
Order_Details --> Order --> Customer --> Name
