The Provider Tab is used to manage the database connection of a Datastore. A Datastore is connected to a single database, using a GenWise Database Provider. Every Database Provider provides a database connection user interface that is specifically targeted to its database platform.
When you change the connection from one database to another, GenWise will try to remap all the Datastore Entities and their objects to the new backend.
The Import Options button is a shortcut to a section in the general GenWise IDE Options concerning automatic generation of labels and column headers. Read the Import Schema topic to learn more about these options.
