The startup screen is displayed by default when GenWise Studio is started. The Recent Repositories list contains Database Repositories that have been opened in GenWise Studio, the Recent Projects list contains projects that have been opened. Items from these lists are opened by clicking them. The full path of Database Repositories and projects is displayed in a tooltip on mouse over.
If you have been working on a lot of projects the list may contain items that have become irrelevant. Items can be removed by right-clicking them and choosing remove options from the context menu. You can either remove a single item or clear the whole list.
A new Database Repository can be created by clicking the New Repository button. Database Repositories and projects not in the lists can be opened using the Open Repository button and the Open Project button.
The startup screen can be disabled in the Genwise IDE Options, by turning off the option: GenWise Framework - General - Show Splash Dialog.
